Are you a reliable, hands-on individual who enjoys staying busy and being part of a supportive team? We are looking for a Warehouse & Stores Operative to join our client’s team in Sparkford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a practical environment, takes pride in doing a job well, and is happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing incoming deliveries and dispatching outgoing shipments
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
- Maintaining stock accuracy through regular inventory checks and stock takes
- Carrying out quality checks on outgoing goods
- Entering and updating information on the company's warehouse software (full training provided)
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Supporting colleagues across the wider factory when required
What we are looking for:
- Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience is desirable
- A valid Fork Lift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential
- Good computer skills and confidence using systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good numeracy and communication skills
- Own transport is essential due to location
