I am seeking a TIG Welder to join an engineering and manufacturing business based in Sparkford on a permanent basis. They specialise in the design, manufacture, and supply high-performance equipment used in commercial environments.

You will be required to cut, fabricate and assemble metal components using TIG and spot welding techniques. This role is critical to support assembly and wider production operations. You must ideally have the ability to work with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities for the TIG Welder:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements
  • Set up, align, and weld components to specification
  • Select appropriate welding methods and equipment
  • Complete work orders accurately using the ERP system
  • Follow production schedules and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Ensure safe working practices and proper material handling
  • Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organised
  • Support wider production activities as required

To be considered as the TIG Welder:

  • Experience in TIG welding
  • Fabrication experience and capability to read drawings
  • Experience in working with Stainless Steel or Aluminium metal
  • Professional Welding certification is extremely beneficial
  • Good attention to detail
