We are recruiting a reliable Warehouse Operative to support our client’s fast-paced operation. You will help keep the warehouse running smoothly through materials handling, inventory control, and order fulfilment. Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic are essential.
The Job:- Loading and unloading goods from lorries (manual handling) and completing all associated paperwork
- Accurately labelling multiple items in a timely manner
- Working efficiently while meeting strict time deadlines
- Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues
- Picking, packing, shrink-wrapping, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Disposing of waste and supporting recycling processes
- Conducting equipment checks, basic maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness across the warehouse and factory
- Identifying potential safety hazards and reporting them promptly
- Comfortable lifting heavy items as part of daily duties
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills
- Fast, accurate, and able to work to targets with a willingness to learn new skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and site safety procedures
Hours: Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern – candidates must be able to work all three:
- 6am to 2pm (6am to 11.30am on Friday)
- 2pm to 10pm (11.30am to 5pm on Friday)
- 10pm to 6am (5pm to 10.30pm on Friday)
All breaks are paid for.
