Pertemps are recruiting, and we are looking for an outgoing individual to become part of the team at our Blackburn branch. This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a new team. This will be a fast-paced role, working closely with the account manager day to day in support of the branch needs.
Looking for a self-motivated person who thrives working independently. Candidates will be required to work both from home (IT equipment will be provided) and occasionally in the office, on-site at Blackburn or Carlisle as required (approx. 3 days a month). Other team members are based in Wigan, so team meets locally will also be required.
The ideal candidate MUST have:
- Business administration experience
- Knowledge of general office practice and procedures
- Ability to plan and complete work to agreed timescales
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to act on own initiative within agreed limits
- Ability to remain calm, confident and professional
- Confident answering and taking calls, to then manage leads
- Ability to work independently and in support of a team
- Comfortable using different software packages
- Willingness to learn and committed to own continuous personal & professional development
The ideal candidate must be flexible; the role is 20 hours, 11am-3pm daily, but this can be flexible and discussed. Additionally, able to work additional hours if required to support the other staff in branch. Notice would be given as to the additional hours as and when required. The intention is for the role to become full time when the business allows.
