I am looking for a Trainee Manufacturing Data Technician to join a team based in Radstock on a permanent basis. Are you looking to start a career in Manufacturing, Engineering or Data Management? In this role you will support the creation and management of manufacturing data within the ERP system.

This is an excellent opportunity for a school, college or university leaver with strong attention to detail and a passion for technology, engineering or manufacturing. Full training will be provided, along with excellent opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings and product data within the ERP system.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and product specifications to support manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain accurate product revisions, documentation and manufacturing records.
  • Support continuous improvement projects, data reviews and process improvements.
  • Work closely with Design, Production, Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve data queries and support new product introductions.

To be considered:

  • Qualified to A-Level, BTEC, T Level, HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Maths, Physics or a related subject.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Interested in manufacturing, engineered products and data management.
  • Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
