We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing & Goods-In Assistant to support our client’s procurement team.

This is a varied role involving purchasing administration, supplier liaison, stock control, and goods-in support.

Responsibilities

  • Raise purchase orders using Sage 50.
  • Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve queries.
  • Assist with stock checking and goods-in processes.
  • Support procurement projects and day-to-day administration.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in administration, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain is required.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage 50 experience is advantageous.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Own transport is essential due to location
