We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to support our client based in Darwen, Lancashire, operating within the energy sector. This is a temp to permanent contract offering an excellent opportunity to join a busy and professional office environment.
The Role: As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate data while providing high-quality support to key energy provider customers across the UK. This is a data-driven role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to question discrepancies and identify trends.
- Managing and inputting large volumes of data accurately
- Maintaining and updating customer records and internal systems
- Liaising directly with key UK energy provider customers via email and telephone
- Analysing data to drill down into facts, trends, and performance metrics
- Identifying, questioning, and escalating anomalies or inconsistencies
- Using internal systems and CRM platforms to manage customer information
- Providing general administrative and customer support
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Strong data entry and data management skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Analytical mindset with the ability to recognise trends and patterns
- Comfortable questioning irregularities and escalating concerns
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
