We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to support our client based in Darwen, Lancashire, operating within the energy sector. This is a temp to permanent contract offering an excellent opportunity to join a busy and professional office environment.

The Role: As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate data while providing high-quality support to key energy provider customers across the UK. This is a data-driven role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to question discrepancies and identify trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and inputting large volumes of data accurately
  • Maintaining and updating customer records and internal systems
  • Liaising directly with key UK energy provider customers via email and telephone
  • Analysing data to drill down into facts, trends, and performance metrics
  • Identifying, questioning, and escalating anomalies or inconsistencies
  • Using internal systems and CRM platforms to manage customer information
  • Providing general administrative and customer support

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Strong data entry and data management skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to recognise trends and patterns
  • Comfortable questioning irregularities and escalating concerns
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
