Our client is a well‑established, market‑leading engineering business based in Radstock. They specialise in the manufacture of high‑end products for an international customer base and are now seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in this permanent role.
The Role
You will carry out preventative maintenance across machinery and equipment, respond to emergency breakdowns, and support with installation, movement, and overhaul of machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career within maintenance and contribute to a fast‑paced and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance activities following the machine and facility maintenance schedule.
- Assist with installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Support the overhaul, repair, and general upkeep of all plant machinery on site.
- Help maintain site facilities and building fabric.
- Conduct fault‑finding, testing, and adjustment/removal of fittings, fixtures, and parts.
- Maintain clear communication with management and relevant teams, seeking support when required.
- Perform additional duties appropriate to the role and skill level.
Further Duties
- Contribute to company values and objectives.
- Adhere to all company rules, Health & Safety, and environmental standards.
- Attend training and development activities as required.
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities within your role.
- Ensure all machinery is safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Important Information
This is a permanent role. Please ensure you are able to commit to the alternating shift pattern before applying. There is also out of hours duties and cover as required in line with operational requirements.
