Hours: Monday to Friday (6am – 2pm)
Pay: £13.15ph
Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 6 Month
We have an exciting opportunity for fabrication operatives to join our client’s team. With their manufacturing base in Radstock, this prestige high-end client is expanding its team and looking for preferably an experienced Fabrication Operative.
The purpose of the job is to support the welders and fabricators. This will entail:
- Picking material for processing
- Operating power saws and drilling machines
- Performing basic Welding and Fabrication activities on your own
- Assembling kits for fabrication
- Completing final assembly of finished items
- Ensuring paperwork is correct and complete
- Performing stock checks, general workshop and housekeeping duties and assisting other departments as required
- Complying with all company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures and policies
To be considered you will need to:
- Have engineering experience (i.e. assembly)
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Be able to read and understand measuring equipment
- Have great attention to detail
- Be able to perform basic administrative tasks using a computer system
- Have a flexible, adaptable attitude to enable you to work across multiple departments as workload dictates
