Our Client provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking CNC Operators to join our team in Basildon.You will be responsible for manufacturing high precision parts on mainly 4 and 5 axis milling and turn/ mill CNC machines, as well as general machining tasks.CNC Operators Key Responsibilities : Setting and operation of various multi axis CNC machines.Inspect parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with drawings.This includes company procedures, operating standards, and production methods.Maintain an accurate log of any production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.Maximise machine uptime through preventative measures (TPM).Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machineryFlexibility to support production requirementsWork appropriately with other Teams MembersCNC Operator Skills & Behaviours:High attention to detail and a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality work that is manufactured to closely controlled specifications (Defence and Aerospace requirements).CNC Operator Skills & Experience:Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience of working to high quality standards on precision componentsKnowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and proceduresTime served and / or demonstratable relevant experience requiredWhats in it for you?Full time, permanent contract37 hours per week, 3-shift rotation, Monday to FridayAttractive rate & shift allowance on offerYoull gain access to the following company benefits: pension, life insurance, private medical healthcare, prescription protection eyewear, employee retail discountsYou will receive 33 days holiday per year which includes a Christmas closureYoull have ample opportunities to grow and develop within the team, while working in a supportive and collaborative environmentInterested?
