I am seeking a dynamic Audit and Accounts Manager to join an established accountancy practice based in Exeter.
Do you hold an ACA ACCA qualification that is able to manage a team?
The organisation has a client base that ranges from start-ups to significant charities and NFP organisations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of audits and accounts and assisting the senior management and directors.
Job Title: Audit & Accounts Manager
Location: Exeter
Contract: Permanent
Salary: 44,000.00 – 48,000.00
Your responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will include:
- 50% Audit 50% Accounts (including Charity NFP sector)
- Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments
- Oversee workflow and management of a small team
- Review Audit files ahead of director review
- Review and prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis
- Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance
- Assist senior management & Partners
- Ad hoc project work
To be considered:
- ACA ACCA qualification
- Experience managing a team
- Work to tight and conflicting deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and delivery
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting
- Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (not essential)
