We are recruiting for a Deputy Room Lead for our Preschool room at Riverside Twickenham Park.
This role would suit anybody that has experience as an Early Years Teacher, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Apprentice Educator, Nursery Educator or Nursery Assistant.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Montessori qualification)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
