The purpose: As Transaction Manager, you will ensure our sales department performs at the highest level in new and used vehicle sales, maximises profitability and assists in closing deals. You will do this by selling additional finance and insurance products, whilst ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation.
In this role, you are accountable for:
- Managing and developing all new and used vehicle sales enquiries
- Maximising the sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products and services
- Assisting in the closing of vehicle sales by providing finance products
- Securing finance business using approved providers
- Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to
- Holding regular meetings with the Line Manager to review month-to-date KPI performance
- Ensuring that Sales Management, General Management and other front-line sales employees are kept abreast of developments in the finance and insurance market
- Seizing every opportunity to enhance the reputation of Volvo Leeds
- Maintaining visual excellence through stock display
Key Responsibilities:
- Personify the Company Values and live the Company Strategy and People Strategy in all aspects of your role.
- Lead, coach, develop and manage the team to elevate their performance and deliver results.
- Ascertain proper resource allocation to provide optimal customer satisfaction
- Proactively strive to achieve and exceed site and departmental objectives.
- Ensure the sales department responds to all enquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner
- Monitor and strive to achieve KPI targets
- Ensure sales and profit targets are met and exceeded by working closely with sales executives
- Provide the Sales Manager with current data on other financing sources and insurance policies to ensure company offerings are both competitive and customer-pleasing.
- Train, mentor and coach sales executives to fully understand the features and benefits of finance and insurance products available
- Ensure customers fully understand their contractual obligations regarding all products purchased
- Maintain a high level of customer service and support
- Ensure that all employees are committed to the principles and ethics of Riverside Volvo Leeds
- Ensure the dealership achieves, and exceeds, profit and income targets on vehicle sales
- Ensure that settlements are made on a timely basis to avoid any unnecessary charges
- Ensure the showroom system (Kompass) is fully utilised to enhance sale profitability
- Enhance our Brand partnership.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow the Customer Journey policy at all times.
- Any other duties commensurate with the post.
