Essentials (You Must Have)
- Experience working as a Parts Advisor or in a similar automotive parts environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- A customer-focused approach with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts.
- Ensure accurate ordering, storage, and supply of parts to support efficient workshop operations.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of stock levels, orders, and parts movement.
- Provide clear and professional communication regarding parts availability, pricing, and alternatives.
- Support the service and workshop teams to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Maintain a well-organised and efficient parts department in line with company standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department or similar customer-facing role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and team-focused approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Confidence working with systems and processes to manage stock and orders accurately.
- A willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced dealership environment.
