We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team at our Volvo Dealership in Doncaster. You will be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing across a range of vehicles.

Essentials (You Must Have)

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a similar workshop environment.
  • Strong fault-finding abilities and experience carrying out complex repairs.
  • A customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Full valid driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer and factory standards.
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections, accurately identifying faults and recommending additional work.
  • Clearly communicate technical issues and repair requirements to customers in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, manufacturer specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Oversee servicing, repairs, and parts replacement, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and customer satisfaction is achieved.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Level 3 IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication will be essential, particularly when liaising with Service Advisors and customers to explain work required.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to support a team of technicians.
