This role requires travel between Rose Brae, Wirral RSAP and also in the community to manage dispersed customers. Car is desirable but all travel is within the Wirral area.

The difference you will make as a Therapeutic Support Worker:
You will be working from one of our supported services working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver a high-quality, person-centred service, providing practical and emotional support through asset-based and trauma informed approaches. This role combines day to day operational care and support duties with the provision of specialist, evidence-based input within an agreed area of expertise. You will apply specialist knowledge to enhance outcomes for customers, contribute to high standards of practice, and support the development of the wider staff team. ‘Specialist knowledge’ may relate to a range of customer need areas, including psychology, substance misuse, forensic backgrounds, or other relevant specialisms. The post holder will provide specialist therapeutic input to customers and offer advice, guidance and case support to colleagues, alongside undertaking general care and support tasks in line with service requirements.
About you:
- Relevant qualification(s) or recognised training within the area of specialism.
- Specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and practice.
- Knowledge of trauma informed, recovery oriented and co-produced approaches.
- Recent experience of direct customer work with vulnerable and diverse groups.
- Community based therapeutic or specialist practice.
