Knowledge/Experience
- Significant and successful teaching experience in Motor Vehicle with a proven record of success is preferable across all levels.
- Strong vocational background in a related area
- Experience of effective team working and effective relationships between staff and students
- Ability to develop supportive working relationships with parents and other key stakeholders
- Knowledge of curriculum and assessment issues and IMI procedures and practices
- Detailed understanding of curriculum developments and national initiatives in Motor Vehicle
- Current knowledge of awarding body practices, through up to date training is preferable
- Knowledge of safeguarding issues
- Knowledge of equality and diversity issues
