You may or may not have heard of Riverside Church in Whitstable, but we're an Inclusive, Independent, Charismatic Evangelical church in a beautiful town by the sea - and we're now recruiting for our next Lead Pastor(s)!
After almost 11 years of leading Riverside, my husband Simon and I have begun the process of handing over the leadership of the church next year as we move into a new season ourselves.
Riverside is a really special church family. We're passionate about Jesus, about people, about being good for everyone, and about serving our local community. We're also a church that believes in being Spirit-led, fully inclusive and affirming, and committed to creating a place where people can belong, grow and flourish.
We're looking for someone who can lead Riverside into its next chapter - someone who will honour the culture and foundations that have been built over 100 years, while also having the vision, leadership and creativity to reimagine what Riverside can become in the years ahead.
This is about so much more than being a great preacher on a Sunday. We're looking for a visionary team leader, a culture carrier and someone who genuinely loves people and wants to see a church make a difference in its community.
And yes... it's in Whitstable!
