Riverside Bridge School is a large and growing specialist SEND school supporting pupils from EYFS through to Post-16 with a wide range of complex needs.
Our pupils include autistic learners and those with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties, communication needs, sensory differences and physical and medical needs.
Our personalised approach places communication, independence, wellbeing and preparation for adulthood at the heart of pupils’ learning and development.
We are looking for a calm, professional and highly organised Receptionist to provide an efficient and welcoming front-of-house service.
As a key first point of contact for pupils, families, visitors, staff and external professionals, you will play an important role in ensuring that the school operates safely, effectively and professionally each day.
The role combines reception and visitor management with safeguarding procedures, communication and administrative support.
Responsibilities include managing telephone and email enquiries, signing in visitors and contractors, supporting visitor compliance, maintaining accurate records, communicating with families and professionals, processing post and deliveries, supporting school events and coordinating stationery and office supplies.
This is a busy and varied role within a specialist environment, so we are seeking someone who can manage competing priorities, communicate confidently, maintain confidentiality and remain calm and professional when responding to sensitive or challenging situations.
Experience in a school or SEND setting is desirable, but strong administrative, organisational and customer-facing skills are central to the role.
