Role: Design and maintain secure cloud architectures across GCP and/or AWS, Azure. Lead application security assessments of cloud platforms. Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards and best practices. Act as a liaison between Solution Architects and the Engineering team. Evaluate and implement cloud-native and third-party security tools (e.g. CSPM, CWPP, IAM, SIEM). Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security audits for cloud environments. Monitor for emerging threats and vulnerabilities in cloud platforms and recommend proactive controls.
Skills: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 3 years focused on cloud security architecture. Technical background and in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security services. Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption and compliance frameworks. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and CSA. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
