Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members. Responsible for all results from the Expo line through the dining experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Continuously fosters great relationships with team members in all areas and mentors others to do the same.
  • Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Sets standards by being cooperative, helpful, and friendly, and by presenting a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Integral in ensuring strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Assists in weekly inventory of all supplies to ensure all equipment and products needed are on hand and properly rotated.
  • Assists in meeting budgeted figures for labour and other expenses.
  • Notifies team members of changes in policy and procedure.
  • Must work closely with the Department Trainer to ensure all new hires are trained both with classroom and floor programs.
  • Ensure all existing team members are attending follow-up training sessions.
  • Communicate any problems or concerns to the Crossings Restaurant Manager.
  • Works with all departments to ensure proper communication.
  • Participates in departmental meetings as required.
  • Maintains files in such a way that another supervisor could perform efficiently in the event of his/her absence.
  • Promotes the Casino through goodwill and a positive attitude.
  • Maintains high sanitation and safety standards.
  • Maintains security of products and areas assigned to a department.
  • Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures that all Team Members are treated fairly and consistently.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year as a supervisor in a full-service restaurant.
  • High school Diploma.

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

  • Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
  • Able to obtain a Food Manager Certificate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work while standing for hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to tolerate secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
