Hours: AM Shift (5:30am start) Monday-Friday
Due to our continual growth, we are looking to appoint a Driver Helper to join our busy Logistics Team. This role will be based out of the Belfast depot. As a AM shift drivers helper, you will start at 5:30am based from Duncrue site, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- To provide assistance to the Driver at all times
- Obtain all necessary documentation for the daily runs to ensure efficient operation of the business activities
- Check customer routing for the daily runs, prioritising workloads to ensure all customer commitments are achieved
- Provide excellent customer service that supports the RiverRidge brand
- Due to the physical nature of the role, you will be required to collect and move commercial containers
- Ensure all electronic paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.
Requirements
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Max 6 penalty points)
- Good Geographical knowledge of NI
- Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience in dealing with customers and members of the public
- Ability to work well with others / Team Player
- Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
- Flexible approach to working hours to include weekends and Bank Holidays
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Previous experience working within the Transport Sector

Must be able to provide documentation to confirm their eligibility to work in the UK
