The predicted salary is between 32700 - 32700 £ per year.
Due to our continual growth, we are looking for HGV Drivers (Category CE) to join our busy Transport division at our depot in Mallusk.
Responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills that support the RiverRidge Brand.
- Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times.
- Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally).
- Following all regulations relating to driver’s hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a valid HGV licence ‘CE’, Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Minimum of 1 year’s HGV (Class CE) driving experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Max 6 penalty points).
- Good Geographical knowledge of NI.
- Good Knowledge of driver’s hours, rules and regulations.
- Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques & undertake manual work.
- Flexible approach to working hours including weekday, weekends & Bank holidays will be required.
- Good Communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Previous experience working in the waste industry.
Further Information
- Competitive Hourly Rate £15.73ph.
- Overtime rate of Time and a Half for hours worked over 44 hours Monday to Friday.
- Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday time and a half.
- Annual Performance Bonus scheme available.
- 28 days Annual leave incl. of 8 Customary and Bank Holidays.
