About Nivoda
Nivoda is on a mission to transform the $350 billion global jewelry industry. We’re building the operating system for the industry — a marketplace that connects diamond and gemstone suppliers directly with retailers, giving both sides a faster, more transparent, and more efficient way to trade. Today, Nivoda processes over $300M in annual transactions and continues to grow at an extraordinary pace, with teams based in London, New York, Hong Kong, Mumbai, and beyond.
Our Mission
Diamond and gemstone trading has long been plagued by inefficiency, opacity, and exclusivity. Nivoda was built to change that - to democratise access and empower every business, regardless of size or location, to buy and sell with confidence. Independent jewellers are at the heart of this mission. They deserve the same access to quality, pricing, and selection as the biggest players in the industry. That’s exactly what we give them.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on, detail‑obsessed individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our London Fulfillment team. You’ll be based in our London office, at the heart of day‑to‑day operations — responsible for the accurate quality control, packing, and shipping of diamonds and gemstones moving through Nivoda’s marketplace. This is a role for someone who takes real pride in getting the small things right, thrives under pressure, and wants to play a part in scaling a global business from the ground up.
What will you be doing?
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing diamonds and gemstones to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Sending & Receiving Shipments: Coordinate domestic and international shipments to both suppliers and customers.
- Packing & Shipping: Physically packing a high volume of orders and ensuring that these are accurately labeled, packaged, and documented for delivery.
- Customer collections: Preparing and assisting customers with their collection of orders.
- General order Fulfillment: Assist in processing customer orders, ensuring that the right items are picked, packed, and shipped on time.
- Melee order Fulfillment: Counting and weighing melee diamonds, ensuring that the right orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time.
- Office Admin: Support in managing the general administrative work related to the office.
- Collections: Collect stones from suppliers in the local area to QC and process in office.
- Collaboration: Communicate with internal teams to ensure the smooth distribution of orders and managing customer requests.
What do we need from you?
- A minimum of 1 year hands‑on gemmological experience or a diamond grading qualification.
- Confident working in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail, Slides) and Slack in a fast‑moving, channel‑based team.
- Exceptional attention to detail – every document filed and every parcel handled needs to be right, every time.
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling valuable assets and customer information.
- The ability to prioritise high‑value shipments and tasks with precision in a fast‑paced environment.
- A friendly, responsible, and proactive attitude – someone keen to learn and grow into new responsibilities.
Nice to have
- GIA or Gem A qualification.
- Prior exposure to or experience in diamond or gemstone quality control.
