Cook to join our culinary team.

In this role, you'll prepare high-quality meals for residents, staff, and guests across several dining venues while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, entrées, side dishes, and desserts
  • Provide food service support for multiple dining venues, including the Pub, Bistro, Health Center, and Main Kitchen
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control standards are met
  • Assist with meal preparation, production, plating, and service
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and HACCP guidelines
  • Monitor, record, and maintain food and refrigeration temperatures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with routine equipment care
  • Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, servers, and dietary staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  • Support team operations and help wherever needed to ensure efficient meal service

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional cooking experience preferred
  • Experience in restaurants, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, catering, or institutional food service is a plus
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
