About Us
Riverlane is a leading player in quantum error correction technology.
About the Role
At Riverlane, we build new and advanced solutions to solve one of the hardest problems in quantum computing: quantum error correction (QEC). Our solutions must work seamlessly with varying customer requirements, in different environments and for multiple types of quantum computers. To achieve this, we rigorously test our innovative software and hardware solutions and measure performance, identifying any integration issues early on.
What You Will Do
- You will work alongside engineering teams throughout the entire feature development process of our products.
- You’ll identify test requirements for new features and design novel tests to ensure the quality of our product remains high as these features are integrated.
- You will develop a deep systems‑level understanding of our products, which you’ll bring to the fore when working with other engineers to identify the underlying causes of test failures.
- In addition to developing novel tests, you’ll ensure that existing nightly tests remain reliable, diagnosing any regressions.
- You’ll also identify opportunities to implement new ways of working to improve the quality of our system test infrastructure and accelerate the quality assurance cycle.
- We are creating something truly unique, complex and large‑scale, so being comfortable with engineering to evolving specs is key.
- You should be happy and excited to get hands‑on quickly in areas outside your own expertise, and thrive in a collaborative environment, working well with different people and being team‑oriented.
