Delivering even greener veg: We’re in the process of swapping diesel vans to electric, with the ambitious goal of being 100% electric vans for low-emission deliveries to our customers! This role is a 3-Month Fixed Term contract, 16 hours per week – Working Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays. Start and finish times vary; we usually arrive at the hub between the hours of 4 am to 6 am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered. Location: To support a healthy work-life balance, we kindly ask that candidates live within a 30-minute commute of our Oxford Hub: Backyards Grove Farm, Dollys Lane, Bletchington, OX5 3DZ.
Pay: £13.86 per hour.
What you’ll be doing: As a Delivery Driver at Riverford, you’re more than just a pair of hands on the wheel. You’re the friendly face of our veg box delivery service, bringing fresh, organic produce from field to doorstep. Each day, you’ll deliver 70 or more boxes, treating every one with care and helping us build strong relationships with our community of customers.
We’re looking for careful and responsible delivery drivers who know their way around a busy round and take pride in doing things well. It’s really beneficial if you have multi-drop delivery experience, but we’re more interested in a calm head, a kind manner, and someone happy to muck in when it counts.
You’ll be part of a supportive team that cares about good food, good farming and doing things the right way. It’s a role with real purpose, helping deliver the best of the season to people’s doors.
