Delivering even greener veg â weâre swapping diesel vans to electric, with an ambitious goal of 100% electric vans for lowâemission deliveries to our customers.
Location & PayLocation: To support a healthy workâlife balance, we kindly ask that candidates live within a 30âminute commute of our New Covent Garden Hub: Unit 133/135, New Covent Garden Market, 9 Elms Lane, SW8 5BH.
Pay: ÂŁ15.94 per hour. This role is a permanent contract, 40 hours per week. Working MondayâFriday, which includes Bank Holidays. Start and finish times vary; we usually arrive at the hub between 4 am to 6 am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered.
What Youâll Be DoingAs a Delivery Driver at Riverford, youâre more than just a pair of hands on the wheel. Youâre the friendly face of our veg box delivery service, bringing fresh, organic produce from field to doorstep. Each day, youâll deliver 70 or more boxes, treating every one with care and helping us build strong relationships with our community of customers.
Weâre looking for careful and responsible delivery drivers who know their way around a busy round and take pride in doing things well. Itâs really beneficial if you have multiâdrop delivery experience, but weâre more interested in a calm head, a kind manner, and someone happy to muck in when it counts.
Youâll be part of a supportive team that cares about good food, good farming and doing things the right way. Itâs a role with real purpose, helping deliver the best of the season to peopleâs doors.
What Weâre Looking For- Full UK driving licence & own transport (to get to the hub)
- 3.5âtonne van & multiâdrop experience (70+ drops per day preferred)
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Good communication & customer service skills
