Working hours are 40 hours per week - Working Sunday to Thursday. This 6-month contract offers a great opportunity to make an impact, with the possibility of extension or a longer-term role as we move into 2027, subject to business needs. Salary is negotiable and will be confirmed as part of the shortlisting.

What you will be doing: As Transport Compliance Manager, your work centres on ensuring our transport operation is safe, compliant and aligned with all legal and regulatory requirements. You provide independent oversight and assurance that Operator Licence obligations, driver compliance and fleet standards are consistently met across the operation.
Reporting to the Transport General Manager, you maintain strong compliance processes, accurate records and clear control frameworks that support DVSA expectations and audit readiness. You identify risks early, ensure requirements are well understood and provide clear, practical recommendations that strengthen compliance across Transport.
Working closely with Transport Planners, the Driver Team Manager and wider teams to ensure compliance standards are applied consistently, while remaining independent from day-to-day planning and people management. Your role is to bring clarity, oversight and confidence that legal and safety standards are met.
This interim position is focused on strengthening compliance foundations and supporting the long-term stability of the transport operation. The successful candidate needs to be available for an immediate start.
