The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
You'll be driving one of our Riverford branded vans and will be responsible for making sure everything arrives in perfect condition, and as promptly as possible. You might have to go above and beyond; sometimes our customers give us special instructions about where to leave their delivery, or you might find that a customer wants to talk to you about Riverford and what we offer. We want to make sure that we find drivers who are customer focused and keen to make an excellent impression.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Riverford branded van and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow customers' special instructions for delivery locations and engage with customers when appropriate.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and present a positive company image.
- Assist with the safe handling and delivery of produce; ensure items arrive in good condition.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and previous experience in multi-drop/delivery driving.
- Knowledge of the local area.
- 3.5 tonne van experience and multi-drop experience preferred.
- Customer facing/customer service experience.
- Attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Forklift experience also preferred but not essential.

Contract details
This role is a 3 Month Fixed Term contract, 7-8 hours per week, working Mondays (inclusive of Bank Holidays). Start and finish times vary; we usually arrive at the hub for 6am and finish when all deliveries are completed.
Location
To support a healthy work-life balance, candidates should live within a 30‑minute commute of our Bristol Hub: 2 Orpen Park, Ash Ridge Road, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 4QD.
Pay
£13.59 per hour, paid monthly.
Delivery expectations
As a Wholesale driver delivering our award-winning produce, you'll be Riverford's #1 ambassador and the friendly face of the business for our wholesale customers. Some journeys may involve produce collections and deliveries from our Ledbury distribution hub. All rounds will start and finish at our Bristol hub.
