Riverford are passionate about organic veg and deliver to around 70,000 homes across the UK each week. We offer a bucket load of benefits: 33 days holiday pro rata (including bank holidays), 30% off veg boxes and our online shop, generous company pension scheme, and an annual profit share (at least 10% of all profits are split equally between all co‑owners).
Delivering greener veg: we are swapping diesel vans to electric, with the goal of 100% electric vans for low‑emission deliveries to our customers. This role is a permanent contract, 40 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday (inclusive of Bank Holidays). Start and finish times vary; we usually arrive at the hub between 4am and 6am and finish when all veg boxes have been delivered. Location: candidates should live within a 30‑minute commute of our York Hub: Unit 3b, Lincoln Road, Ashbrook Park, Sherbern‑in‑Elmet, LS25 6PJ. Pay: £14.94 per hour, paid monthly.
As a Delivery Driver at Riverford, you’re the friendly face of our veg box delivery service, bringing fresh, organic produce from field to doorstep. You’ll deliver 70 or more boxes each day, treating every one with care and helping us build strong relationships with our community of customers. Be a careful and responsible driver who knows their way around a busy round and takes pride in doing things well. Multi‑drop experience is beneficial, but we value a calm head, a kind manner, and a willingness to muck in when it counts. Be part of a supportive team that cares about good food, good farming, and doing things the right way. This role has real purpose in delivering the best of the season to people’s doors.
What we’re looking for:
- Full UK driving licence & own transport (to get to the hub)
- 3.5‑tonne van & multi‑drop experience (70+ drops per day preferred)
