Riverford are mad about organic veg; they grow it, pack it into boxes and deliver it to around 70,000 homes across the UK every week. Hours & Contract
This is an 8‑month fixed‑term contract, working 16 hours a week on‑site at Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon (TQ11 0JU). We can flex hours to suit your needs – whether that’s around school hours or spread over two or three days. Monday is the only essential day required. Salary: £14.36 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new team members, guide them through induction, and handle essential paperwork.
- Ensure timesheets are accurate and up to date every week.
- Organise, order, and distribute PPE; keep on‑site accommodation at standard through monthly checks.
- Collate monthly vehicle and tractor inspection sheets, replenish and audit first aid kits, and manage training records.
- Coordinate and arrange required training in close collaboration with Farm Managers.
- Act as the linchpin supporting the farm throughout the year.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on administrative experience.
- Confidence using Excel and Word.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Team player who is enthusiastic, adaptable, self‑motivated, with a can‑do attitude.
