It’s at the core of everything we do. We love to grow it, pack it into boxes, and deliver it to around 70,000 homes across the UK every week. This role is a 3 Month Fixed Term contract, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday which is inclusive of Bank Holidays. Start and finish times vary; we usually arrive at the hub between 4am and 6am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered.
Location: To support a healthy work-life balance, candidates should live within a 30-minute commute of our New Covent Garden Hub: Unit 133/135, New Covent Garden Market, 9 Elms Lane, SW8 5BH.
Pay: £15.94 per hour, paid monthly.
As a Delivery Driver at Riverford, you’re more than just a pair of hands on the wheel. You’re the friendly face of our veg box delivery service, bringing fresh, organic produce from field to doorstep. Each day, you’ll deliver 70 or more boxes, treating every one with care and helping us build strong relationships with our community of customers.
We’re looking for careful and responsible delivery drivers who know their way around a busy round and take pride in doing things well. It’s really beneficial if you have multi drop delivery experience, but we’re more interested in a calm head, a kind manner, and someone happy to muck in when it counts.
You’ll be part of a supportive team that cares about good food, good farming and doing things the right way. It’s a role with real purpose, helping deliver the best of the season to people’s doors.
- Deliver 70+ boxes per day in a multi-drop environment.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and build relationships with customers.
- Follow route plans and safety procedures to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the hub team to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence & own transport (to get to the hub).
- 3.5-tonne van & multi-drop experience (70+ drops per day preferred).
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Good communication & customer service skills.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries is a plus, but a calm head, kind manner, and willingness to muck in are valued.

We are in the process of swapping diesel vans to electric, with the ambition of 100% electric vans for low-emission deliveries to our customers.
