Job Summary:
Riverdale Healthcare is delighted to invite applications for a GDC-registered Orthodontic Dental Nurse to join the friendly and supportive team at Windmill Orthodontics in Bedale. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced orthodontic clinicians, providing essential chairside support while helping deliver high-quality patient care across both NHS and private orthodontic treatments.
The practice features two spacious surgeries, with exciting revamp plans planned for the near future, and is equipped with modern technology including an OPG machine, intra-oral scanners, and SFD (Single File Disinfection) systems to support efficient and high-standard clinical care. As a specialist orthodontic practice, you will be assisting with a wide range of orthodontic procedures while helping to ensure a smooth and positive patient journey.
You will be joining a well-established team with long-serving staff, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where experience and teamwork are truly valued. The practice also benefits from an on-site Clinical Support Unit (CSU) and Treatment Coordinator (TCO) who help guide patients through their treatment journey, as well as a clinical lead on site providing guidance and clinical support.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic about orthodontics, passionate about patient care, and eager to continue developing their skills within a dynamic and supportive practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clinicians during orthodontic treatments
- Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical cleanliness
- Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments
- Provide excellent patient care and support throughout their treatment journey
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with compliance requirements
Requirements:
- GDC-registered Dental Nurse (Essential)
- Hold an additional qualification in Dental i.e Sedation, Radiography etc. (Desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, reliable, and professional with a patient-focused approach
