Overview of the role:
To contribute to the whole life of the School, always remembering that our core purpose is to improve the education and lives of the children and young people at the School. Implementing the Riverbank curriculum by meeting the professional teaching standards and teaching of pupils.
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified teacher status
- The ability to work indoors and outdoors in rural and urban environments, supporting students in a range of activities
- Ability to move physiotherapy equipment with appropriate training and guidance from specialists, including the manoeuvring of manual wheelchairs
- To be able to apply specialist skills to support in meeting the needs of complex SEND
- The ability to support students aged from 11-19 with moving and handling and personal care
