At River, we specialise in face-to-face sales and customer acquisition, representing leading UK brands through high-footfall promotional events, pop-up campaigns, exhibitions and retail activations. All campaigns take place at organised event locations. No previous sales experience is required. We provide full training from day one and promote based on performance, attitude and development.

The Role

As a Sales & Events Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of our live campaigns, speaking directly with customers, representing well-known brands and generating new customer acquisitions. Your primary focus will be sales, building rapport with customers, identifying their needs, explaining products and services, and helping them sign up with confidence.

As you develop within the business, you'll also gain exposure to the operational side of events, including campaign planning, event logistics, team coordination and event set-up, providing a clear pathway into leadership and management.

  • Representing leading UK brands at promotional events and customer acquisition campaigns

  • Achieving individual and team sales targets
