We are looking for a Trainee Motorhome Technician to join our growing team here at River Motorhomes Hereford to develop into a skilled and versatile professional.
About the Role:
As a Trainee Motorhome Technician, you will work alongside experienced engineers to learn all aspects of motorhome servicing, maintenance, and repairs. You will be learning how to carry out a variety of tasks including habitation checks, mechanical servicing, fault diagnosis, electrical and plumbing repairs, and fitting accessories and upgrades. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the servicing, safety inspections, and maintenance on motorhomes and campervans.
- Learning how to diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, heating and gas systems.
- Gaining experience in installing motorhome accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, and awnings.
- Getting confidence in liaising with service advisors and customers as needed to explain work carried out.
- Keep accurate service records and ensure all work meets safety and industry standards.
- Damp Surveys, targeted Repairs, and Professional Resealing.
- Maintaining a safe, clean working environment.
- General workshop duties including cleaning and preparing vehicles.
