Ever looked at a motorhome and thought: That's basically a house on wheels. You're not wrong and we need someone who loves making houses (and houses-on-wheels) look, feel, and function brilliantly again. At our Hereford depot, we're a friendly, quality-obsessed team who take real pride in the work we do and the relationships we build with customers. There's nothing better than handing back a leisure vehicle that looks spot-on and knowing someone's next adventure starts because you did the job right.

This is a hands-on role with real variety, real satisfaction, and real 'I fixed that' moments.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll be workshop-based, working on customer leisure vehicles (motorhomes and caravans), carrying out repairs and refurbishments to a high standard.
  • Repairing and refurbishing interiors and exteriors of motorhomes and caravans.
  • Using woodworking skills to cut, shape, fit, and install boards and panels neatly.
  • Working with wood, GRP, plastics, aluminium and composite materials to complete repairs properly.
  • Fitting plastic/GRP panels on front and rear exteriors, plus Ali panels on side exteriors.
  • Working to pre-prepared estimates and hitting agreed timescales without sacrificing quality.
  • Helping teammates, sharing skills, and keeping the workshop humming along as one unit.

Think of it as: part craftsperson, part problem-solver, part make it look brand new again wizard.

Who this role is perfect for

This job is ideal if you've got solid hands-on experience that transfers well, such as:

  • Professional woodworking, joinery, fitting, or construction.
  • Expert-level DIY (the kind where your friends ask you before YouTube).
  • Repair, maintenance, refurbishment, workshop roles, or trade backgrounds.
  • Anyone who gets a weird amount of satisfaction from straight cuts, tidy finishes, and panels that line up perfectly.
  • Motorhome/caravan experience is a bonus, but not essential. If you're great with materials and tools, we can teach the leisure-vehicle specifics.

Skills and experience we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • Woodworking or similar (professional or expert DIY standard).
  • Good problem-solving skills (you enjoy figuring things out, not just following a script).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised.
  • A genuinely helpful, customer-focused mindset.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Any experience with caravans/motorhomes/leisure vehicles.
  • Confidence working with GRP/composites/plastics/aluminium.
  • A basic understanding of 12V electrics (training provided, but the basics need to be there).

The attitude that wins here

We're looking for someone driven, self-motivated, curious, and practical. Someone who:

  • Brings a can-do approach.
  • Enjoys learning and improving.
  • Wants to grow into the role and bring ideas that help the team do even better.

If you like fixing things properly, making improvements that last, and taking pride in a job well done, you'll feel at home.
