Job Description & Responsibilities

We are looking for the right person to support a service user in Bude on a Sunday 10-3.30 and Monday 9-2.30 each week.

As a Community Carer, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, helping them live independently, stay connected to their community, and enjoy a better quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks to help maintain dignity and independence
  • Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, with sensitivity and respect
  • Preparing meals and supporting with medication, ensuring clients’ health and well-being
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shops, and social outings to keep them active and engaged
  • Offering companionship and emotional support, making a positive difference every day
