The successful candidate will be based in our Liverpool office, supporting NHS and Public Sector clients to meet complex legal and regulatory obligations related to Information Governance, Data Protection, GDPR, and confidentiality. The role offers up to £60,504 within a flexible working environment. The post involves supporting clients at various levels, providing expert advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation. Internal responsibilities include monitoring policies and supporting the organisation in maintaining certifications and managing Subject Access Requests. Main duties of the job The post holder will: Be a subject matter expert in information governance and data protection. Support clients to meet legal and regulatory obligations related to Information Governance. Provide support and deputise for the Data Protection Officer. Offer interim expert support to clients as needed. Monitor compliance with data protection and information governance policies. Working for our organisation MIAA is an NHS Shared Service hosted by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
