An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Coordinator. The successful applicant would support the delivery of business growth by assisting with lead generation, market research, and marketing activity while working closely with the Business Development Director, who leads client acquisition and commercial negotiations.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Lead Generation & Research
- Research markets, industries, and potential customers
- Identify and support the development of new business opportunities
- Assist with outbound outreach campaigns (including working with external partners where required)
- Support the qualification of leads against defined criteria
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems and Excel trackers
- Marketing & Content
- Support the delivery of social media activity (LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Create, schedule, and publish content in line with agreed plans
- Assist in developing blogs, case studies, and marketing materials
- Work with internal teams (design, photography, sales) to produce engaging content
- Monitor performance and provide basic reporting and insights
- Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest ideas
- Sales & Customer Support
- Assist with preparation of materials for tenders and proposals
- Support onboarding of new customers
- Assist with outreach and follow-up activity with prospects
- Contribute to customer engagement initiatives and retention projects (e.g. surveys)
- Internal Communication
- Support internal communications such as newsletters or updates
- Coordinate content and updates from different departments
- Assist in ensuring consistent messaging across the business
Key Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and professional when engaging with others
