As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Operations Advisor to join our HR team in Poole.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives on building great working relationships and wants to play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same in this role. You'll provide operational HR support across the entire employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers while ensuring our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.
You'll be involved in:
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and inductions
- Producing contracts, letters and employment documentation
- Managing HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records
- Providing support on employee relations matters, including absence management, performance concerns and investigations
- Preparing payroll information and liaising with Finance
- Supporting learning and development activities, including delivering training
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, communications and events
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies.

What we're looking for
We're seeking someone who combines strong administration skills with a genuine passion for people.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR administration, HR coordinator or HR advisor role
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience using HR systems and producing reports
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards)
Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
