Rivan Industries is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries you can’t electrify. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.
We’re looking for a Commercial Director to build on our already significant book of business as we scale our manufacturing and deployment. Rivan is bringing a disruptive technology and approach to a well‑known commodity energy market, offering a unique opportunity to forge relationships and contracts that will set the tone for the next decade of heavy industry decarbonisation.
Responsibilities
- Build commercial pipeline to achieve Rivan’s targets – end‑to‑end ownership from outreach and engagement, through to negotiation, close, and delivery.
- Market‑mapping and execution.
- Forge contracts and relationships with strategic buyers in Government and Military.
- Accelerate funding opportunities – accessing and delivering new funding across grants, loans, and strategies.
- Garner strategic support – map all stakeholders, devise effective communication and incentive plans to engage and garner support.
Qualifications
- 8+ years professional experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field (preference to engineering).
- Experience originating and scaling hardware, energy or infrastructure companies.
- Track‑record of large‑scale contract procurement in eMethane, biogas, or related markets.
- Examples of exceptional ability (own projects, past achievements, other).
Compensation & Benefits
- £125k base salary, with additional OTE.
