We are on the lookout for a Marketing Technology Manager to join our Marketing Optimisation team, focusing on maintaining and improving our CDP and Marketing Automation systems.
This role will report to the Head of Marketing Optimisation, sitting within the broader team of analysts, marketing operations specialists, and technologists. You will need to work closely with your teammates and the wider marketing team, as well as our engineering and data tribes in Pipedrive.
Your new adventure
- Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on delivery of our core marketing technology capabilities in the areas of our Customer Data Platform (Segment), Marketing Automation tools as well as our Digital Adoption Platform
- Work end-to-end to translate business requirements into coherent and standardised specifications, that may be delivered by our partners in engineering teams, and carrying out the necessary in-platform configurations
- Act as the go-between for business team members and our development and data engineering colleagues
- Create and maintain documentation for our tooling, drive best practices and operational excellence
- Work with our Enterprise Architect, and business and engineering stakeholders, to map out our marketing technology ‘target state’ and lead projects to get us there
Does this sound like you?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with key marketing technology platforms (including but not limited to customer data platforms, digital adoption platforms, marketing automation tools)
- Requirement gathering, vendor reviewing, setting up, configuring, and maintaining mainstream marketing platforms – such as Segment, Gainsight PX, Vero, Custom.io, Optimizely, and/or Funnel IO
- Experience in communicating complex technology solutions in simple terms to business people and translating business needs into technological solutions
- Work in a team of marketing specialists, to provide expert knowledge to deliver better performance for the business
