We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer who operates at the intersection of deep craft and strategic thinking. Someone who cares as much about a perfectly resolved interaction as they do about reframing the problem itself. You will shape not only what we build, but why we build it. AI is no longer a feature layer - it is redefining workflows, user expectations, and what great software feels like. We want a designer who has already internalised this shift and is genuinely curious about where human judgment and machine capability meet. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and leadership, you’ll help define AI-native experiences that are thoughtful, ambitious, and exceptionally well-crafted. If you bring strong product intuition, systems thinking, and a high bar for execution, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain design systems, patterns, and components that work consistently across product surfaces.
  • Frame problem and opportunity spaces clearly, turning ambiguous inputs into actionable design directions.
  • Design end-to-end user flows, from high-level architecture through to detailed interaction and visual design.
  • Prototype and validate ideas quickly, using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate exploration and iteration.
  • Review and critique design work across the team, providing specific and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout the build cycle to ensure design intent is preserved in delivery.
  • Conduct and synthesize design reviews, usability observations, and feedback loops to inform ongoing work.
  • Contribute to and uphold craft standards across the team, including interaction details, edge cases, and visual consistency.

Qualifications

  • At least 8+ years of experience working as a product designer or similar role.
  • Ability to design end-to-end product experiences, from flow and structure through to detailed visual and interaction design.
  • Strong systems thinking, ability to design components, patterns, and guidelines that scale across a product.
  • Ability to frame and communicate design decisions clearly in written and verbal form, including to non-design audiences.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows as part of day-to-day practice.
  • Experience working in fast-moving product teams with short iteration cycles.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining the brief as part of the work, not just responding to one.
  • Collaborative working style with product, engineering, and research counterparts.
  • Familiarity with the specific product domain or industry.
  • Experience running or contributing to user research and usability testing.
  • Working knowledge of front-end constraints and implementation considerations.
  • Experience contributing to or owning a design system at team or organisation scale.

Benefits

  • People-first culture - Be part of a team that values authenticity, champions collaboration, and supports each other—no egos, just teamwork.
  • Unlock potential – Push boundaries, take ownership, and experiment with the latest technologies as we enhance our AI First Vision.
  • We’ve got you – Your well-being matters. Enjoy flexible hours, wellness perks and SWAG.
  • Grow with us – Whether through mentorship, coaching, or internal mobility, we invest in helping you unlock your potential.
  • Packed with purpose – Help 100,000+ small and medium-sized businesses grow and succeed while doing meaningful, customer-driven work.

Frame the Conversation

During the interview, make sure to articulate your thought process clearly. When discussing design decisions, frame them in a way that shows your strategic thinking. Use examples from your experience to illustrate how you've turned ambiguous inputs into actionable design directions.

Collaborate and Communicate
