Riva South Ltd is looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our pallet network operation in Southampton. Immediate start preferred , however, happy to discuss a flexible start date.
This is a hands-on, local delivery role covering Southampton and the surrounding SO postcode areas, delivering and collecting palletised freight for a wide range of customers.

Your typical day will involve delivering and collecting palletised freight throughout Southampton and the surrounding areas.
You'll be responsible for:
* Driving a HGV Class 2 rigid curtain-side vehicle safely and responsibly * Completing approximately *12–16 deliveries/collections per day* * Loading and unloading palletised freight using a *tail lift and pump truck* * Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects * Using a handheld device to obtain electronic signatures and complete deliveries * Managing your route efficiently and meeting timed deliveries where required * Providing a professional and friendly service to customers * Maintaining good communication with the transport office and yard * Ensuring all paperwork and delivery information is completed accurately
What we're looking for
* Valid *Class 2 (C) licence* * Valid Driver CPC * Tachograph card * Good driving record — ideally no more than 6 points * A professional attitude towards customers and colleagues * Good communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage a busy day's workload * Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience is preferred but *not essential for the right candidate*
