About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza London Victoria as Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will be integral in supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the hotel’s physical assets, facilities, and guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of safety and functionality. The role is vital for delivering a seamless guest experience by providing rapid response to technical issues and driving operational excellence through proactive preventive maintenance.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform basic tasks including painting, filling crevices, manual handling, heavy lifting, removing floor plates as and when necessary, cleaning facilities, and managing maintenance repairs.
  • Monitor the RIU App and perform the requested tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out PPM works and record them.
  • Carry out all daily, weekly and monthly safety checks and record them.
  • Troubleshoot and repair daily issues.
  • HSE responsibility: carry out all maintenance H&S checks.
