About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza London Victoria as a Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will be integral in supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the hotel’s physical assets, facilities, and guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of safety and functionality. The role is vital for delivering a seamless guest experience by providing rapid response to technical issues and driving operational excellence through proactive preventive maintenance. You’ll leverage your expertise in maintenance to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation during this exciting transition period.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hotel industry is required for this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, manual handling, heavy lifting, removing floor plates as necessary, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs.
  • Monitoring of RIU App and perform the requested task in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out PPM works and record it.
  • Carry out all Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Check and record it.
  • Troubleshoot and repair the daily issues.
  • HSE Responsibility, Carry out all Maintenance H&S checks.
