This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza London The Westminster as an Assistant Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be integral in proactively assisting the Chief Engineer to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations at our hotel premises. The role includes ensuring the building and facilities are safe, functional, and appealing to guests.

What You’ll Do

  • Together with the Chief Engineer, you will plan and carry out short, medium and long‑term maintenance programmes.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate their daily duties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve issues.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate with hotel management and Chief Engineer to set maintenance goals.
  • Handle emergency problems such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
  • Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed to reduce risks and accidents.
  • Oversee renovation and repair projects from start to completion.
  • Work with the Chief Engineer to manage the maintenance budget.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Train maintenance team members and ensure they are up‑to‑date with the latest techniques and procedures.

  • Gross salary: Competitive
  • Full time contract: 40 hours
